Bring on the Tums

I know, I really have no room to complain because I don't get sick one little bit during pregnancy. But, I do get heartburn. OH, THE HEARTBURN!!! I'm sitting here "patiently" waiting for Matthew to return from the store with an economy-size container of tums. While I'm sitting here, my baby is kicking away and I'm wondering if I should be nervous that she seems to be sleep each day away and is very active in the evenings and early morning hours. We might have another never-sleep-at-night-sleeper on our hands. Sigh.

Jules, Tums don't do skew-wat. Okay Kristen just told me they do and she ate a whole bottle this last pregnancy. I didn't know that. But here's what I do know and I recommended to Kristen last year because I read it on the internet and it really does work. Normally I charge people 5 bucks for this advice, but since you're family I'll give it to you for free: EAT MUSTARD. I'm not joking. The next time you have heartburn, get out the mustard and eat a teaspoon of it and you'll feel good all over. Don't eat too much, however, because when I was a cub scout Sister Austin taught us that was a good way to make a person throw up.
