The weather over Memorial Day weekend was actually pleasant! We took advantage of it and went hiking at Picacho Peak. It was our first time using the hiking backpack and Bridget did great. She didn't love the backpack as much as she loves the Bjorn (she always gets VERY excited and kicks her legs and waves her arms and squeals when we put her in the bjorn), but she endured it well! Matthew also endured it well...

I've never had a backpack but those Bjorns are indispensable aren't they? I love them. My boys lived in them when they were little. Although Luke grew out of his so quick I was wishing for a backpack. Looks like a fun day!
Look at this blue-eyed family!! Wow - no wonder Bridget's eyes are so crystal blue. You all look great in the desert sun!
