Happy Birthday, Matthew! Isn't he darling?
Matthew took the day off work today and we have had a great day. I made him breakfast, we went out to lunch, opened gifts, and tonight we'll have an ice cream pie/cake. The theme of our three-person-family-party was a "beach" party, so I made candy leis for Matthew and me and a cheerio lei for Bridget. Matthew kept trying to get Bridget to eat her lei, but she would have none of it, and chose instead to chew on the party hat, a box, a spatula....

Matthew - Happy Birthday! It's good your permanent teeth eventually came in - they look much better than the spaces in the picture from your youth! What a beautiful family.
