I stepped on a cockroach today. On purpose. But STILL. SICK. No, it wasn't in my house, but it was right by the stairs leading up to our house so I had no choice. I figured if I didn't step on it, it would make its way into our house. Gross that I stepped on it, but what disturbs me is that they're back. The weather is much warmer now so I guess they've been secretly breeding for a while now because this one was HUGE. I am dying that they are back. Please let it always be cold so they never appear in my house again.
Last night Matthew and I were kneeling at the bed getting ready to pray when suddenly he spied a teeeny spider on his pillow. That started the conversation of whether we'd rather have cockroaches or spiders in our house. Neither one of us could decide which we would rather have. I guess this season we're lucky enough to have both. BLEEEEGGGGGHHH!!! Really though, you're all probably thinking our place is infested. It's not. I'm not sure if I've seen another spider in the two years I've been here. And this one was teeeny. And, we've had only five cockroaches in our house since we've lived here. But that is five too many!!!

Okay, yes! I'm afraid to come now. Please get rid of all of them. I'm very impressed you stepped on the cockroach. Yesterday I made Gavin pick up a dead spider because I didn't want to! And you actually did that all by yourself! I'm so proud of you.
HI JULES!!!! How come nobody told me you had a blog???? Come visit mine sometime! Yea!!!
Okay, so that is seriouly the #1 reason I don't want to live in AZ or in NV. I say the heat, but it's really the bugs. To this day, when I see some 'thing' crawling, even if it's some random bug...knowing it's not a cockroach makes it much more bearable. I know your house isn't infested...it's impossible to completely keep them out. Now...have you seen any scorpions? I, thankfully, never saw one. But, there was a development in my ward, and I had several friends who had been stung by them and had them in their house! Yikes! The little spider doesn't sound too bad after all!
I'm so happy to be able to keep up w/ you and see your GORGEOUS baby! I'm just excited! Can you tell???
