And today's reason...
We cut out and colored hearts for Valentine's Day today so I let Bridget use crayons for the first time. I put her in her high chair to contain the mess and thought, "I should make sure the crayon comes off her high chair" because I knew she'd get it on there. "Nah," I thought, "I'm sure it will come off," and besides that, I'm far too lazy to do such a thing. We had a grand time making Valentine's, and sure enough, Bridget also had a grand time coloring her tray. Heh. And now it won't come off. Help. Suggestions? I just tried baking powder and I think it may have lightened it a bit, but it's still very visibly there. Is it a hopeless cause and I should just color the rest of it to make it look like we meant to do it?

Juls, I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It works great.
Magic Erasers belong in every home with a toddler in it. And if that doesn't work, which I doubt, I hope you used a high chair tray that will go in the dishwasher. That would definitely take it off.
if you could even SEE our high chair tray...
Magic Eraser, definitely!
I agree with the Magic Eraser, however, it doesn't work on plastic cutting boards specifically your mother's plastic cutting board when she is absent on a mission and your bro-in-law comes up with an awesome magic trick using crayons. My sisters and I had a good laugh last week putting away her dishes when we saw the familiar stain in an otherwise pristine kitchen!!
many a wall around here has been re-painted because i don't know how to get crayon off, either. thanks for the tips from your readers! :)
julie!! I just found your blog on steph's blog roll. Good to see you, your little girl is adorable!!
