And this is how we feel about it!!! How easily we forget. I'm pretty sure we go through the same cycle every year. We melt all summer long, think "How and why on earth do people live here?" And then it cools down and we have such beautiful winters that it makes us happy we live here....and then the heat comes back.
We're pretty sure we have Seasonal Affective Disorder here at our house, except it's just opposite of the normal SAD, it's the heat that gets us! We just want to hibernate for the entire summer with the blinds drawn and the freezer well-stocked with lots and lots of ice cream! Anyone have any good recipes that don't require turning on the oven?

Okay, that is the cutest/hilarious-est picture ever. I'd feel the same way. I think I'll stop crying that it's 58 degrees here. (I'm not crying cause it's hot, I'm crying cause it's RAINY AND COLD.)
I won't complain either about the "cold front" and the rain we have been blessed with today. I HATE heat!! I'll send you some good recipes you can use without the oven!
Ha ha! Someone didn't want to get her picture taken. That's a great shot! Such a cute outfit! I can't wait to bust out the summer clothes. But alas, I had to bundle Jesse up in a snow clothes when we went out this morning 'cuz it's still so bloomin' cold!
The picture says it all!! (And look at those magnificent blue eyes!!) What a cutie - even if she was having a heat stroke...she's still a doll!
