She's.......

not here. In case any of you were wondering. Which is just fine. I will take ALL the sleep I can get in the meantime. I still have things on my list of things to do. Dave and Rach and Jesse are coming to stay Friday night (yippeee!), so it would be more fun if I were here at home rather than in the hospital. And, the longer she waits, the closer it will be to when grandma will arrive to take care of all of us. Ü So here are some questions for today:

1) Is anyone else completely sick of the same two pairs of pants I've been wearing for the past, oh, 3-4 months?
2) When do kids stop wanting to drink their bath water?
3) When do kids realize it's more fun to eat their food than play with it?
4) Will someone let this baby know there is a better way out than kicking and punching?

The other night I was lying in bed trying to go to sleep, and Matthew was sitting in bed right beside me, reading a book. My back was towards him, but I was cuddled up next to his side. The baby was moving like crazy so after a while I said "Oh, goodness! This baby is going crazy!" Matthew replied, "I know, I can feel it on my leg through your bum." Haaa, haaa, haaaa.

That is hilarious. :) Glad he gets to share in those special moments. Ha ha. I hope you get lots of rest before the big day. :)

To answer your questions: yes, I'm sick of your pants... hahahahaha. Bath water drinks... around 3. Playing with food is always more fun. I believe it's up to you to coax the child out by telling her stories about how cool her crib is and how many toys she has to play with if she'll just come to the other side. :) Are you trying VBAC? Love ya! :)

Update on the bath water drinks... my ALMOST 4 year old just drank some! I said, "Did you just drink water out of the bath?" She smiled and nodded. I said, "Well, don't! All the dirt off of your bodies is in there now!" She didn't even look fazed. Argh! :)

Bath water? Yah, that's a hard one to kick. My boys (5 and 3.5) still drink it sometimes. Aw well, whattya do? It builds strong immune systems right? Ehhhh...
