So Amy came and stayed four days with us and I LOVED IT!!! We had a grand ol' time. She's been married for nine years so it's been a long time that we've spent that much time together. It was so fun to just talk, talk, talk and get to know each other better at this stage of our lives. Amy was a fabulous guest and I want her to come back! Highlights:
- She made us her incredible Italian lasagna that she learned to make on her mission in Rome. She even made us two so we could freeze one and have it later, although Matthew loved it so much he wanted to take the entire second one to work for lunch the next day.
- She watched Bridget one day while I had an appointment, and also watched her one evening so Matthew and I could have a little date. Although, I must admit, at one point while Matthew and I were out, I yawned, said "I'm tired," looked at my watch and noticed it was only 8:37. Heh. Gone are the glorious dating days!
- We went to the Sonoran Desert Museum (I know, I know, I'm obsessed with that place, but it really is very neat).
- Amy made us s'more brownies...mmmmmmm....
- We went on a number of walks and the orange blossoms are out and boy do they smell divine!
- Lots of really good conversation!

Julie!!!! Hello, it's Brittany! I'm so glad that I found your blog. Look at your adorable family. Bridget is so cute. How old is she? You still look like you're glowing and just as skinny as I remember you being at BYU. The "Jodes" says Hello...It's funny to think back to the days when Jody and I were just starting to date...oh, the good times during all those Service Council meetings. Hope all is well with you.
